Marking the length of a inlay piece. Sometimes your customer wants a design that has a different meaning than what you would like. But if you look at it from a different angle it is a cross again. So it is all in the eye of the beholder. It is what you read into it. I see it as normal crosses you see on top of a grave. But the customer sees it as crosses turned around and they have a different meaning. I did not know about this until I married my Christian wife!
